Charter Oak Day School is a place where
children can really enjoy their present world.
With a philosophy to motive children to achieve
their fullest potential, we propose to help
children achieve this potential by developing
competency in basic skills with quality
childhood experiences that will prepare them
  for life.

Established in 1968, the school has grown to be
  an inter-denominational and multicultural

organization with an average enrollment of 175 families and staff of 29 employees.  Under the Administration of Mrs. Ozie Simpson, the Board of Directors and licensed by the State of California (Title XXII), the school offers various programs for families with children between the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

Our goal is to grow together in an atmosphere of love, understanding and togetherness among children, parents and the community.

As part of the school's enrichment program, the creative arts are presented in addition to basic lesson in Christianity as part of the daily curriculum.

We practice the "Open Door" policy and extend a warm welcome to all!

Charter Oak Day School is part of the fabric of the Charter Oak Community

In fact, we have provided quality childcare services to this community since 1968.  Charter Oak Day School was a favorite place for parents and children to spend quality time together in a morning enrichment program.  Times changed, Moms went to work, full time child care was needed.  The school became a strong institution, employed a professional staff of Early Childhood Educators, Business Manager and a School Administrator.  The rest, as they say, is history of growth, progress, and changes, all the results of providing quality childcare based on Christian principles and Jean Piaget's learning theories.

We provide services:
Early Care (6 weeks to 2 years)
Early Childhood Education (2 years to 5 years)
School-Age (5 years to 12 years)

The Charter Oak Day School Promise

  • To provide quality childcare with respect, dignity and with a professional attitude to all children and families.
  • To continue to train ourselves so that the service we give will be more and more intelligently performed.
  • To improve constantly the human factor in our business.
  • To reward the employees in our school through participation in what we are all about.
  • To serve the public, as nearly as we can, to it's complete satisfaction.

As the years continue, more fabric is being woven by all the lives we touch.
